some info on what you can expect from my Confidence boosting
NLP Coaching and Hypnosis sessions and some of the results
I've had in the past.

My confidence building
program involves four sessions of coaching and hypnosis, which
includes using some NLP techniques where applicable to change
the neurological links you have to certain situations that are
causing you to "get in your own way".
I will explain the
basics about recognising unconscious self-sabotage - how you can
recognise it in your behaviour, how you can stop it and use positive
self-talk and resourceful questions in our internal voices, and
much more. (This eradication of self-sabotage will be reinforced
in hypnosis.)
The coaching component lasts around 15 minutes.
The remainder of your
session will involve the hypnosis, which reinforces and builds
upon what we've talked about and specifically what you have said
you want.
Initially, you are
gently guided through a beautiful metaphor to release unresourceful
negative emotions, thoughts, characteristics and behaviour that
may be weighing you down and holding you back. This type of hypnosis
is called Eriksonian hypnosis meaning that stories or metaphors
are used, within which positive suggestions are embedded. This
is great for people like myself who don’t enjoy or accept people
telling me what to do! :)
Once your conscious
mind is quieted and accepts the process, I will then move onto
many repetitive positive messages carefully designed to instil
more authentic self-confidence, self-belief, inner strength, creativity
and motivation to go for what you want in life as well as the
willingness to trust yourself, make decisions with the applicable
facts, take action where/when appropriate, and the creativity
to come up with solutions to problems. I will also embed the NLP
techniques you learned in the coaching in hypnosis.
Why do I work by phone?
Initially, it was because I lived in a rural location and my clients
were many miles away (my clients were and are dotted around all
over the world). This method has worked phenomenally well! I now
recommend it (for adults), even though I'm now in a location where
people could have sessions in person.
My clients generally
recline in their LazyBoy or get cosy in their beds, i.e. they
lie down in a place they associate with comfort and relaxation.
In my opinion, the huge benefit clients derive from my hypnosis
sessions - and so quickly - is in part due to the fact they can
relax more deeply more quickly when they are able to feel safe
and relaxed in their own home rather than an unfamiliar office
somewhere, i.e. at home you're in an environment they can control.
A note about the hypnosis
part, it's beneficial to have a comfortable set of headphones
that you can attach to your phone. Some clients put me on speaker
phone, but I would recommend headphones, so you can be sure of
your subconscious hearing and therefore absorbing everything easily.
Usually people fall into a hypnotic sleep. That’s fine – your
mind will still ‘hear’ everything, but I would prefer you to be
wearing headphones, so that my voice is clearly audible to your
subconscious mind during that time.
My hypnosis sessions
may be a little different than what you expect. The first 15-20
minutes involves a beautiful metaphor, which is a little like
a story you can follow. In following the story, you release any
negative unresourceful emotions, thoughts, characteristics or
behaviour that may be weighing down as I mentioned above.
When you emerge from
the hypnosis, you’ll feel like you've had a refreshing nap for
about 45-50 minutes. Clients always tell me that they wake up
next day feeling fantastic! Clients have reported that people
around them – work colleagues, friends and family - comment on
how much more positive, communicative and approachable they are.
A wonderful side effect
of my sessions is that clients report is that they sleep much
more soundly and that their primary relationships are better.
