NHL Hockey: having worked with NHL coaches last season (2010/11), one of my goals is to build on that experience and will re-open negotiations with NHL coaches and players' agents concerning the efficacy of using NLP and Hypnosis for sport
for the 2012/13 season.

Curriculum Development/ Online Instructional Design and Course Writing 2010: Law, Ethics and Professional Practice in Success Coaching

Operating with integrity in all areas of my life is of the utmost importance to me, so I was pleased and honoured when a college booked me to write and design an online Law, Ethics and Professional Practice course for trainee coaches.

I am creating a sister-site to this one purely focused on NLP and hypnosis for accelerated learning, boosting memory, concentration and focus.

A little of Louise's career background and interests

Since graduating from the University of Sheffield, England with a triple honours degree in Russian, German and French, followed by two years successfully studying Law at Leeds Business School, I have coached and taught people from all over the world, from various walks of life - from Belgian nuclear physicists to Swiss financiers to Brazilian advertising execs to Finnish paper engineers.

As well as success coaching through NLP and hypnosis, I have enjoyed two other careers, namely, in education and in Information Technology. I worked for four years in IT for a major multi-national IT company at various locations all over the world, most interestingly, in Silicon Valley, California and at the BBC in London, England. I am a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Certified Web Designer, a Certified Novell Administrator and Microsoft Certified Trainer to name but a few IT designations.

Having lived and worked in ten countries - and visited many more, I can be a mine of information and inspiration if you're looking to take a different career direction or to change your country of residence :)

As well as coaching and Hypnosis, you can also find me teaching IT certification, web design and English Language courses by webinar, and from time to time, at one or more colleges in and around Ottawa.

I have now accumulated well over ten years' international teaching, training, curriculum design, coaching and educational management experience.

Mostly this was and is face-to-face, however for seven years (2001-2008), I was also Senior Online tutor to approx 1500 trainee teachers all over the globe during their distance learning, e-learning course, supporting their studies leading to a Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language, plus ESP including Teaching English for Business & for Academic Purposes.
I supervised and gave feedback on new hires during their probabtion period. I also approved learning materials to be used and proof-read new additions to the course and assessment processes.

This experience of teaching and supporting people who may be the other side of the world has provided a solid foundation of knowledge and skills for successfully helping individual clients and thousands of attendees of my webinars all over the world using NLP and Hypnosis.

Interests

I have a great many interests. To name a few here: overseas travel, golf, health and fitness activities like Tae Bo, Step aerobics or other high-impact workouts five times a week, running - I run 4 miles every other day, cooking, eating(!), learning new things, teaching, course development and learning/acquiring anything to do with computers or technology, helping people through hypnosis and the science of NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) to recognise and utilise the resources they have within them to make positive changes in their thinking, learning ability, their health and thus their lives.

About sports: I have considerable competition experience. I know and have experience of the issues in competing in sports – I played as a forward (Right Wing) for my school and my town’s hockey team in England for many years and competed in swimming at a high level – as well as being a member of a major swimming club, I also was chosen to represent my country’s schools swimming team throughout Europe.
Being focused and accurate is also very important in the equestrian events in which I was also actively involved for many years.
